Clinical psychology is the psychological specialty that provides continuing and comprehensive mental and behavioural health care for individuals and families; consultation to agencies and communities; training, education and supervision; and research-based practice. It is a specialty in breadth — one that is broadly inclusive of severe psychopathology — and marked by comprehensiveness and integration of knowledge and skill from a broad array of disciplines within and outside of psychology proper. The scope of clinical psychology encompasses all ages, multiple diversities and varied systems.

The clinical team at Daisy Retreat offer extensive experience in treating adults, couples and adolescents. Each retreat addresses the issues specific to the client. These are intensive, reflective retreats which allow clients to address emotional issues in serene, tropical environment.

Dr. Jeremy Alford

Dr. Jeremy Alford holds a BA, MPhil and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University College Kensington in London, England. He is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy, as well as the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis. He is also a qualified clinical hypnotherapist, biofeedback therapist and integrative cognitive behavioral therapist including mindfulness. Dr. Alford has over 17 years of multicultural mental health experience and a proven adaptability to international settings. Dr. Jeremy collaborates to run the Daisy Retreat programme as well as his own Choices Retreats.
